THE NEED
In 2020 Dr. Kyle Searcy felt burdened to serve the destitute of Africa.
There were 600 elementary aged children with no hope of formal education.
THE HOPE
He came back to the US and raised the money to build a school.
Consequently, hundreds of children are receiving the blessing of a high-quality education for just a few dollars a day…
THE VISION
Dr. Searcy began to wonder what other Nations were in need of a school, clinic, home for widows, orphanage, or simply a water well?
As an answer the National Association For The Welfare Of Africa also known as NAWA was born.

Spring 2020
Led by Dr. Kyle Searcy, NAWA changing lives on the continent of Africa
Summer 2020
NAWA began planning for the creation of Destiny Christian Academy. A school in Sierra Leon that would provide hundreds of students with their first opportunity to be educated.
July 2021
Ground Breaking for Destiny Christian Academy was held
November 2021
Dedication and Grand opening for Destiny Christian Academy was held, 600 students are enrolled
July 2022
The first ever graduating is held at Destiny Christian Academy
